Title: Comparing Diagonals on the Associahedra

Abstract: Saneblidze and I were the first to construct a
combinatorial diagonal on the associahedra (2004). Markl and Shnider
proved the “Magical Formula” for the diagonal proposed by J-L Loday
(2006). Masuda, Thomas, Tonks, and Vallette gave a set theoretic
construction, which descends to the “Magical Formula” (2021). In this
talk I will outline a proof that our diagonal is identical to the one
given by the “Magical Formula” (S-U 2022). This result is useful
because our combinatorial diagonal is easy to compute in low dimensions.
