Title: Linking Integrals in Three-dimensional Geometries

Abstract.

Gauss's classical integral formula for the linking number of two curves
in R^3 is geometrically natural in the sense that it is invariant under
ambient isometries, and there are many proofs of it. We'll look at an
approach that produces geometrically natural linking formulas in other
three-dimensional geometries (and some higher-dimensional cases if time
permits).
