   Title: All About Splice Quotients

Abstract. The splice quotients, defined by W. Neumann and
J. Wahl, are a class of complex normal surface singularities that have
generated a great amount of interest in recent years. These
singularities have connections to algebraic geometry, low-dimensional
topology, and even number theory. In this talk, we will define splice
quotients and describe some recent results and open questions.
